The Milltown Volunteer Fire Department proudly serves primarily a rural area of Northwestern Wisconsin. The Milltown Community Fire Association encompasses the Polk County Townships of Milltown, Eureka and Georgetown along with the Village of Milltown. Approximately 3700 permanent residents live in the 103 square mile service area of the department. During the summer months the population nearly doubles across the district. This is due to the numerous cabins on many lakes in the area.
